very well said. Might as well let a person rape another and say that it was their choice to do it if people are going to say killing an innocent life is a woman's choice (They bring women's rights into this when it has nothing to do with sexism... peh)

Hi there, I read your PC/Gay Pride rant thing and enjoyed it, so I figured I'd look at this stamp. Since you allowed comments, I'd like to express my humble opinion. (Feel free to ignore it if this isn't what you wanted, and accept my apologies in advance. )
I'm pro choice for a couple reasons. One I guess is because I'm a girl. That seems kind of weak, but I kind of think it's a lot easier for a man to say "pro life", when they aren't the one who has to go through the 9 month pregnancy and the labor, then the hardships that come after.
Second, the majority of people who want abortions are people who can't provide a good life for the child. A lot of these people who end up wanting abortions are prostitutes (and drug users or alcoholics). Even if they went through with having a child, what kind of life would they have? If the mother is a substance abuser, the child will most likely be born with some sort of disorder.
Third, there's always the rape case. Could you imagine being sexually assaulted and being forced to carry a complete stranger's child? Someone you don't even know or love? ("Lucky" by Alice Sebold illustrates that pretty well.)
Yeah, they could always put their child in an orphanage, but that goes back to being a woman and having to endure the pregnancy, as well as hospital bills, etcetera.
I understand where you were going with this stamp though. Up until about two years ago, I believed that abortion should be illegal too. I used to believe that if someone was stupid enough to get pregnant, they should have to deal with the consequences of having a baby. However, my opinions changed over time.
Again, I'm in no way attempting to change your opinion or anyone else's, I'm merely expressing my own, because I felt it was somewhat appropriate.
Wishing you a great day.
